Hi all! I'm about 3.5 weeks into a Protodrol / 11-Sterone cycle. This is my first experiment with PHs and I had planned for it to be a recomp cycle. Needless to say, eating at maintenance wasn't producing much of a recomp and I've opted to just make it an all out cut. Figured I'd take...
I was in the 275 range on squats, 315 on deads, and 220 or so on bench before I moved over to advanced. Bodyweight of 185 with a bit more of a gut than I'd like.
One other thing I've found is that if I'm stalling out for a couple workouts in a row, it's time for some kind of deload. I usually just drop the Wednesday workout and hit the Monday/Friday workouts with reduced weights for a week. Come back the next week, reset the weights a bit, and get...
If it were me, I'd run at 5 lb increases until I stalled. Then I'd move to the fractional plates and keep at that until I stalled. Then deload and reset my weights.
My logic is just if like to take linear progression as fat as possible. If I'm capable of 5 lb increases, why not? Once I've run...
Definitely think I was holding my breath on that last rep. Can't rule out dehydration, but I hadn't changed anything about my normal routine. I workout in the mornings and pretty much eat/drink the same thing every morning.
Either way, glad to hear there are others that have experienced...
I know what you mean about light headedness from the intensity. This was just like nothing I've ever experienced before. Sigh...looks like I'll be taking the rest of the week off.
Yeah, I definitely think this is a muscle issue at the base of the head where it attaches to the neck. Stayed at my girlfriend's last night and her pillows suck. Woke up this morning with a headache. Planning to take the week off from the gym and hope its better next week. Fully anticipating...
Was curious if any of you had ever experienced exertion headaches. Got one on Thursday. I was on my final set of deadlifts and on the last rep it felt like my head just literally exploded. Crazy intense pain for a good 20 minutes or so. It almost took the wind out of me it was so bad...
If you're still new to bodybuilding, why start on the advanced workout (assuming you mean the periodized version; 5x5 for a number of weeks then deload and 3x3 intensity)? I made great gains on the basic 5x5 at Stronglifts for a long time. When that got to be too much (i.e,. I wasn't able to...
