Some guy, maybe 40 years old once told me that deadlifts are bad for the back.
People at my college gym don't try to give me advice, probably because I'm the strongest one. But back at home at 24 hour fitness, there are plenty of know it alls.
I do 2 sets of dumbbell shoulder press, then 2 sets of barbell shoulder press. Then maybe a set or 2 of side raises. Been working great, I'm up to the 90lb dbs now. :)
Doing high intesity cardio boosts growth hormone levels. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but growth hormone burns bodyfat.
I agree diet is key. I used to drink a weightgainer shake with 100g of carbs right before bed when bulking, but now I just drink a protein shake.
Good job man. How much do you rep usually?
I'm gonna max out in a couple weeks, I rep 30 more pounds than I did 2 months ago, so lets hope I can gain at least 30 on my max!
I plan on maxing out in bench 2 weeks from this friday. My normal chest day is friday. I alternate each week with dumbbells and barbells. One week I start with flat barbell, then do incline barbell, about 4-7 reps. The next week I start with incline DB then do flat DB.
My goal is to max out...
I can do 225x10 for squats. I weigh 180 and am 6' tall.
4 months ago when I began doing squats I could only rep 115x12, so I'm pretty happy with my improvement. I usually gain 1 rep a week in squats. When I started 4 months ago, my balance was bad, but now squats are a lot easier.
