Should I stay or should I go?

You own the schedule. The schedule does not own you. Cancel all training until next week and give yourself a mental break.

    need TRANSLATION/ german

There is really no way to tell with the information disclosed in English, and the German is simply disclaimer text regarding strictly observing prescription laws, that this information is not intended to replace a doctor's advice, etc....

    Who keeps a training log?

I do. I have four years of weight and rowing workouts in a handy Palm V that I take w/me to the gym. There are certain programs that one can buy that will track progress w/graphs, tables, etc...but I consider them pretty worthless. I just use the notepad function. It works fine.

    Lat Pulldowns?

Not to contradict you, but I would advise never trying behind-the-neck latpulls, only frontal pulls down to the chest. There is simply far too much possibility of shoulder damage, and the range of motion is severely limited compared to the front.

    best ways to improve fitness?

That's easy http://www.concept2.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1 Best all-around exercise that I know. Oh, rock climbing as well, but I'm far to large for that. Gotta practically be a freaking spiderman.

    Delayed muscle soreness

That's quite normal Clarence Bass calls it the 'Two Day Lag Rule'. Happens to me all the time.

best way to get in shape? i suck at running!

Rowing is king It might be hard to find an ergometer at a gym near you, so my choice was to simply bite the bullet and buy one. Nothing except cross-country skiing comes close.

Cardio on empty stomach - question

Actually, according to several expert sources, there is no 'zone' and there are manifold benefits to doing high-intensity aerobic exercise in terms of fat loss, due to the higher metalbolic rates over the course of a day (assuming that they're done in the a.m.) Clarence bass, someone who knows...

For those trying to LOSE weight.. get lean.

Pretty much accurate, w/one exception: Clarence Bass, the author of the Ripped series, who got down to something like 1.5% bodyfat, had no problems eating fruit, and explicitly says so in his books. Frankly, I don't think a couple of bananas or apples a day is going to harm anyone's diet...

    Bill Starr's Heavy/Medium/Light Routine...

Just another variation on periodization, although slightly more 'compressed' than other routines I've seen. Clarence Bass is a big proponent of this type of training as well, but rather more along the lines of one month for each segment, followed by 'micro-periodization' periods of, say, one...

    Training myths?

#117: Dumbbell (other otherwise) pullovers will 'expand your ribcage'.

    How do you guys train?

I'm the guy in the rabbit suit on a unicycle.

    how much do you deadlift

515x1. I'm afraid to try to do anything more due to pain in my lower right back that I think may be disc-related, as it acts up when I squat as well. Grrrr........

    how do you guys run!?

Either on a Concept 2 ergometer or a Norditrac.

What would you guy like to see in a gym?

I'd like to see my gym get a trap bar for better deadlifting. Fat chance of that, seeing as it's Gold's in Seaside, CA and owned by that tight screw Reggie Jackson, who seems to show up to the gym in a different M-series BMW each time, but can't spare the funds to fix the goddamn drinking fountain.
