i keep reading that you can't lose fat and build muscle at the same time unless you are a "beginner"
could this be my problem? that is what i have been trying to do for a year and i wasn't exactly a "beginner" to begin with.

I am going to make an appointment and have blood work and an overall physical...the polycystic ovaries is something i actually considered...not really sure why.
I don't seem to have any of the symptoms but better safe than sorry. I am not taking birth control or any other type of...

i am really consistent and give it my all UNTIL i get all mental and frustrated but even then i am not HORRIBLE.....

meal 1 - myoplex lite mixed with water and/or nat PB & udos
meal 2 - 3oz chicken, 1/2C brown rice or 1/2C blackbeans
meal 3 - 3oz chicken, 1/2C brown rice or 1/2C blackbeans with asparagus or broccoli

Just keep kicking butt (sensibly) a 4-8 pound FAT loss is possible in 4 weeks and a great foundation for the remainder of your goal and your mental state.
Maybe look at the time between now and july as a "sprint". That you only have four weeks to be consistent and work hard and then roll that...
sounds like what i call "chair squats".
heels together, feet in front of you leaning against the bar, and you "sit down"
supposedly works the outer thigh muscles more and the opposite being having your toes turned outward and doing a "plie" (sp?) to work the inner.
anyone have any opinions on this book?
i got it the other day and read quite a bit yesterday...looks pretty solid only i never saw mention of cardio AND the diet is a lil "outdated" IMHO
i agree that it is a good *foundation* for people who have been inactive or never stepped foot in the gym...it got me back into the gym after over 5 years....
like keiko said...whatever gets you off the sofa!
I don't think it will yield the dramatic results in the photos for someone...
