This is a great question. All I can say is get used to the phrase, "I forgot your check at home, I'll bring it next time." I always found it intersting how they never forget their appointment, but can easily forget to bring your check. It's part of the business... so don't expect to always...

True, and that is how you can tell the "real" trainers, from the phonies. It's written on their face. you see those trainers in the gym, who just look like the would rather be somewhere else. It's really pathetic to watch them sell their themselves for something their heart is not into.

True, but you don't even need a certification to be a trainer in most states.

Thanks jen. The manual is huge, you are correct, but in many ways it is similar to the study guide which is very good. The NHE manuals are better than anything I got in college. Is NASM hiring? I'd love to work for them. Mike

Anyone here process exams or teach fitness classes for NHE? I just picked up my IP manual and it's extremely complex, to say the least. I was wondering if processors are allowed to implement our own techniques or training programs, or do we have to stick to the NHE certification protocols? Mike
