Only she knows whether or not she is a "lost cause." If she has questions, answer them. But remember, it's not your responsibility to change her body or supply her with motivation.

I wouldn't say it was the 'greatest feeling' but one leg day, I went to a movie in the evening. After sitting for 2 hours in a cold cinema I got sore in my low back and legs; I had to shuffle out like a bent old woman. :lmao:
I used to do them regularly. Then I stopped b/c squats would wipe me out and I'd be too dizzy to risk it! :D But thanks for giving me an idea on what to do while I lay off squats for a while (Heresy, you say! But I'm having some knee problems).
