    McCallum rated SLDL just behind squats as "the" exercise for strength and size. If you read Keys to Progress (which you should) he includes SLDL far more than he includes regular deadlifts.

    Ive been skipping regularly lately and have noticed a good increase in size and shape of my calves. I skip 3-4 times a week either after weights or on off days. Dont do any other calf work either. Good cardio too.
