    Training Board Monthly PR post

    I benched 265 yesterday. PR was 255. I almost made 275, but I needed a tiny bit of help. My original goal was to hit 275 by new years.. now that goal is 315. catching up!

    Can some people just not bench alot?

    I feel the same way... I am 6-1, but my wingspan is about 6'-6". I have just accepted that its lower than everyone else, and just remember that I can squat and dead lift almost twice as much as my workout partner that benches the same.

    little ole me, trying to catch up to you guys.. last night, I did military DB press with the 75s easily for 2x6 reps. Also, did arnold presses with 65s. Our sucke gym is missing an 80, or I would have gone for that too, so next I have to jump to 85. Been a pretty good week for me with new PRs...

    So you haven't touched a flat barbell in 2 months and you expect it to jump up? I don't know for sure, but the previous recs were probably to mix in some dumbells. It has helped me... but I am weak and have a low bench anyways. I find it weird that my max BB is about 245, but I can DB press...

    i like to ride.. i probably go 3 times a month during the summer.. i got a gt idrive i spent about $1200 on after some part upgrades.. somewhere middle of the line. it gets pretty intense when we ride the ski slopes in tahoe. some crazy stuff.. and its tougher than any cardio session i have...
