    well i learned something new today... good to know... i never consumed a crazy amount of protien so i assume i never had to worry about excess being stored as fat... of course i assume if you are on a high protien diet and training hard, you really would never have to worry about excess protein...

    i'm thinking you should know if your workout was good or "useless" while you were at the gym... empirical data isn't going to give you the information you are looking for... by the numbers you did more work (volume) with the 12 reps at 87.5% of your max, but was it the kind of work you wanted...

    back for more good stories... the thing that bugs me the most is bad form... saw 3-4 younger guys the other night (11pm) when i was in for a cardio workout... they were on the bench, had 225 on it... these guys were all tall and skinny (prolly 6' -6'4", 150-160lbs)... the weight was moving up...

    i'm an AM workout guy, usually 9:30-11:00 range... I work 2nd shift so it's pretty much my only option unless I would work out at 11pm after work, but that doesn't seem conducive to maximum effort... i would like to see some studies done on workout times and results... disadvatnage of AM...
