there is no discrepancy, i dont see one. actually 36 reps at 225 should put someone around 425-475 IMO depending on muscular endurance and power.
i do not train alone, we help each other out and the way we train we HAVE to have a couple guys. if you cant get a training partner just do the majority of your heavy lifting in a power rack with safety pins.
