    I still don't understand why you're limiting yourself...one piece of bread with a sandwich?? Also, I wouldn't count the calories from lettuce or whatever...you have to eat a shitload of lettuce to get any substantial calories.

    Actually, even whole wheat bread is about 70 GI. Secondly, the difference between monounsaturated fats and saturated fats has nothing to do with how likely they are to be used for energy...the difference is their effect on cholesterol.

    BMR is how much your body needs to function if you didn't move a single inch all day. Just daily activity will add a couple hundred cals to your BMR, plus your workout equals a couple hundred more. So you probably burn about 500 cals over your BMR each day AT LEAST....then you need 500 cals...

    I just want to make sure I wouldn't be overtraining. With option 2 I'd basically be pounding my upper body, then doing it again after 3 days rest. Is that enough? I know that overtraining will really hamper growth. (I'd be doing 3 sets of each exercise for upper body, and 4 for lower).
