Some women I know have had excess body hair. I have to shave my legs every day ( or MORE ) when on wv.
That's what WAX is wonderful for. No biggie, just wax and pull. OUCH!
I just need to vent - maybe just need to hear another female bb who has felt the same.
I did my first bb show in May and won the entire show. I then entered another national qualifier and won my wt class. The point is I do know what hard work can accomplish and am not a "whiner."

Thanks, IQ
I am now at 20 pounds post contest - about 3 weeks, but am doing a little better mentally. I am training hard and filling out well but still feel FAT. Everyone is telling me I look so much better. I guess it's a head game - I 'll train hard and hopefully my weight will stabilize.
I used to like this board because the Mods would interact more and even though I am a 16 year vet and a national level superheavy I could pick up some great info. Now it is flooded with newbies asking the same daily questions. It is time to reformat.Just my humble opinion.:(
I have heard that after dieting for a show and dropping water, you can have edema that will not go away. I personally know a couple of people this has happened to, but I just can't seem to stop eating.
I'll just need to get my head right I suppose.
Help! I am not sure if I need advice, encouragement or just someone to kick me in the ass. (HA!)
Here's my problem... I just competed in my first two bb shows (MW women) and obviously dieted and trained very hard. I was happy with my results and one would think that I have great...
I know there is somebody on this board who can help. I am a national level competitor who everyone will see this year,so I am no newbie. I need some advice on whether to continue running insulin while precontest and if so is it safe to consume a carb drink post training or will this affect my...
Sweet potatoes are an awesome carb! The best way to monitor nutritional values is to use a kitchen scale and measure. As you know, 8 oz. is equal to one cup. The "average" sweet potato, I found by measuring is about 10 oz. This may be WAY TOO MUCH for a person pre-contest or monitoring carb...
Okay, now I am the girl that you just said, "hopes take last."
I am not surprised with your commentary - coming from HollywoodUltragain who resides in Ontario. BORN in the USA?
I never misunderstood whether he was a boy or a girl, DUH! I
was being sarcastic! Maybe we have a language barrier...
Insomnia
Help!
Every time I am pre-contest from around 8 weeks into the diet -
I have difficulty sleeping. I'm up all night going to the bathroom. Yes, I do drink water more than usual - but try to finish all for the day (1.5 gallons) - before 6. Not taking any diuretics either.
I've...
Thank you for your replies - Who is this person that says 10% is too high 5 weeks out? I have talked with MANY female competitors and she's right on as far as bf is concerned.
