    Are my goals realistic?

too much running chews up muscle? i didn't know that. but i don't think i could convince myself to walk for excerise. what about biking? i like to mountain bike a lot and once the weather improves around here (CT), i'll be going every other day.

    Are my goals realistic?

should i focus on changing one thing at a time (cardio, weight training, diet) or change everything at once? like chaning my running schedule is easy; i just do it. but for weights and diet, i actually have to think about it before i do it. i guess i kind of answered my own question there.

    Are my goals realistic?

i measure my runs by distance because i like to compete, so a 45 minute run is about 5 miles, or about 9 minutes a mile. my runs are typically hilly because i like hills or maybe i just think running hills will make me a better runner. i've never measured my heartrate, i just run. as for eating...

    Are my goals realistic?

I'm 17, 6'4", 210lbs. I want to lose about 20-30lbs, specifically around my waist and upper body, if that makes a difference. I tried to start eating healthly about a week ago, completely cut out butter, sugar, bagels, cookies, anything that i felt was bad for me and tried to replace it with...

    Chest Routine

if declined and flies are "icing on the cake" and are "not necesary for pectoral growth," then what do they do when you perform them?

New to this- no idea what to do

Currently, I'm 6'3" and about 200lbs. I'm somewhat lean, i suppose. I'd post a pic if i had a camera. Normally, I'm pretty good wtih keeping my weight down and staying healthy, but over the last couple months, i was unable to work out because of a broken wrist, and now im really starting to see...

    Chest Routine

I'm more interested in the surfer-style flat chested look. So does this mean I should focus more on decline bench presses? What i want is for my outer and lower chest to look muscular, just to give me that "look." I suppose I should do incline, decline, flat, and flyes, but should I focus on any...

New to this- no idea what to do

In the last 3 or 4 months, i have gained a lot of weight all over my (thighs, stomach, chest). I want to lose a lot of it or all of it, or at least enough so that I can gain muscle and at least look a little skinnier. What should I be eating? Currently, I work out whenever 3-4 days a week, and...
