    Wtf?!?!?!

Her site said her best bench was about 360 in 2000. There's even a picture of her about to do an EZ curl with 3 45's a side! Crazy. AM. http://www.daniela-sell.de/estart.html

    T Bar

I like this excercise because you can go pretty heavy. I used an underhand grip to get more lower lat. I only do chest supported rows and DB rows now because I'm watching my lower back. But if you can do it with no problems, go for it, it's an awesome excecise. A.

    Workout shoes

I wear Lugz boots when doing seated calves. I find the support a little better than running shoes not to mention the soles on the running shoes start to wreck from the foot rests on the calf machine. A.

Attention to those who use a heavy bag

These are some good combos you could use for a workout and have fun with but I suggest you learn technique from someone. At least they could correct your faults and you don't want to injure yourself. A. http://stickgrappler.tripod.com/mt/mt.html

Attention to those who use a heavy bag

That sounds excellent. We used to do what was called the hundreds. You would throw 100 jabs, followed by 100 crosses, then 100 jab/crosses. The jab/cross combo only counts as one so in essence you're throwing 400 punches total. It's a pretty good warm-up before sparring or pad work. A.

Question for anyone currently taking Karate,Judu or similar type classes?

I'd say find a place that offered several styles and try them all to see what you're good at first because pretty much every style has some sort of competition or other and they should let you try the first class for free. Nobody buys a car without test driving it. The place I went to had...

Do you wear gloves in the gym?

Never on a pushing exercise but once in a while I use my sponges for pulldowns so I don't lose my grip. A.

How much can you bench? & How much do you weigh?

395 at 220 bw. Trying to diet down to 200 to put up 4 plates, feeling week lately though. Nope, can't say I can bench twice my bodyweight yet, but I did do 225 for 21. I thought that was pretty cool, got jacked up from reading the NFL combines. Some of those guys speed to strength ratio is...

    Back exercise grips????

To sum up 1-4, your different widths and grips determine your range of motion. Like on wide grip pulldowns to the front, your probably getting a lot of upper back, the closer your hands start to come together, the further you can bring your elbows back and get a deeper stretch and contraction...

    Something popped while doing deads...weird

The same thing happened to me except it was on T-Bar rows. Everything was going good, kept going heavier until I heard the POP on my left side. I thought for sure I broke something because when I stood I looked like a D. Amazingly doctor said it was a muscle spasm. Got a prescription for...

    lat strength for bench

4-6 times a week seems like overkill. If you hit them hard enough with heavy weights you'd be lucky to get 2 workouts in a week. Next to legs, back is a killer. If you guys are aspiring bodybuilders do it Dorian style, underhand grip pulldowns, reverse grip barbell rows, Hammer Strength rows...

    lat strength for bench

Delts I've cut down to just side laterals and rear raises although on a non-bench day I may do seated military press for 3x225x8 and some shrugs and call it quits. I think I'm going to train lats on a separate day as well. The volume on bench and tri work just zaps my energy to hit back hard...

    lat strength for bench

I was reading an article on the net and I believe it was Louie Simmons that said to bench 500lbs., you need to have the lat strength and delt strength of a 500lb bencher (tricep strength being a given). I guess the point was your only as good as your weakest link. I was just curious what kind...
