I got drunk the other day at a party and a girl from school who was there said that I was drunk and dragged her into a bedroom room and tried to kiss her, but then came to my senses and apologized before letting her go (I don't remember any of this).
She told me this the next day and was visibly shook up and upset. And I felt really bad and apologized wholeheartedly.
Prior to that incident she used to wave cheerily and gave me a warm smile when she saw me.
But now she just looks at the floor and walks past hurriedly when she sees me, without saying a word. She avoids any eye contact completely. Whereas before she would be more than happy to join us at the lunch table. I think she's scared of me.
But I was thinking, non of this would have ever happened is she was physically stronger and able to defend herself. So in a way she is to blame.
Is it sexist to think this way?
