Ground Turkey

I took about 20oz of ground turkey and browned it with some cooking spray. In another pan I had a stalk of celery and half an onion both finely chopped with some minced garlic. I added dry basil and oregano just before adding the ground turkey back into the pan. Add a half can of low sodium chicken broth and simmer til the broth cooks down about 15 minutes or so.

You can add another veggie, rice or small amount of potato as well.

Add the mixture to a whole wheat wrap and you have some great portable meals.

I love ground turkey. I also have ben eating turkey bacon I like well.

Ground turkey is bombay. It doesnt taste as good as beef, but isnt bad.
89 cents a pound where I'm at.

Check the fat content when it's that cheap. A lot of times they put the skin and fat through the grinder with the meat and it's fattier than 85% lean beef.

i haven't been able to eat beef for about 10 years now and ground turkey is a GREAT substitute for ground beef. i love that shit and it is a great source of protein. always get the 97% lean, it's 100x better
