my mom is 48 and she txted me a pic of her first wrinkles. they are really shallow but their are a couple lines by the eyes. she was excited about it.lol

hearing is one thing, accepting mainstream media's standards as truth is another. TBH, I didn't sense or feel much pressure for eternal youth among black communities, kinda like the almost nonexistent pressure to be supermodel thin. wonder if natural aging is more accepted in the black community?
No, I noticed it before I saw the thread. Lol. I was looking in the mirror while talking on the phone and noticed a new one..pretty noticeable.

Botox doesn't freeze your face if you just get a little done here and there. Some people really overdo it though.

got bags under my eyes since forever and smiles wrinkles since a teen, I smile/laugh a lot.

Just this past year. I'm now 33 and notice I have crows feet, not from squinting, but from smiling too much. BUT, on the bright side, still a full head of hair with NO grey

No direct answer... Definitely if you've been all bulked out (or fat when younger), and then lost weight, that'll do it. And ethnicity and genes have a lot to do with it too. Asians and African-Americans seem to never get wrinkles. I'm Irish celtic, and have therefore some Asian blood, and have very few wrinkles at 45. But I've never been very huge either. My wife complains that she has too many wrinkles for her age, and she was heavier in college, so that lends to my theory on bigger-to-smaller=wrinkles. I think she's perfect, but I guess women will never be happy with their skin. I have a friend who is Black, and 84 years old, and his skin looks like a 3rd grade kid's skin.
