I skimmed your post after clicking the link and seeing it was from the "HERITAGE FOUNDATION'' . That is NOT a credible source of factual information. And most people know that the American poverty level is considered $12,000 a year or less. That is $8,000 more a year than most countries lower class (non-poverty level)
