actually he has quite a vocabulary he understands
and I mis it up dropping some terms and introducing new ones
maximus can hear my turbo charges/exhaust system pull into the driver
and he'll be at the window

Clyde seems to recognize the sound of my car from a block or more away. I often find him waiting at the front step or at the front of the sidewalk when I get home.
