Are all protein shakes the same?

What is the difference between a container of $50 stuff and a container of $30 stuff?

Also, if you dont use all the protein you have in your body, it wil convert to fat/calories? What is the conversion rate? Does it really matter if you eat/driink too much protein?

first off.....the price difference probably has alot to do witht the amount. Like 30g per scoop would be less expensive as 45g per scoop. Other things to take into consideration is the type of protein it is. Isolate ( I believe) tends to be a little more expensive then concentrate. But don't quote me on that. The rate of absoroption for protein really depends on your body weight and compostion. it can range from 25-40g of protein per meal that will be absorbed.

Yeah there all lots of diff kinds; cassien, micellar, WPC (whey concentrate;most common), hydrolyzed, soy ect....

WPC is the cheapest and most common, about $3 a lbs, but even in supps like nlarge its only 60% pure so its not the best kind. But better price compared to the others which are around $8 a lbs. Then each comp has there own markup ect....
