If you're looking to hook up a good system, don't go to Best bUys or circuit city or any of these large chains. They'll stick you with shit you don't need. I would go to the small audio chains and they'll bargain with you. Be smart though. You need to know what is it exactly you're looking for and do some research on audio systems. Now if you just need a stereo and speakers, its ok to go to these large stores. What kind of system and how much cash do you want to spend and what kind of car do you have?

I usually go to the big stores and find the one I want then search on the internet and you will find the best deals, I bought all the speakers for my car that way and saved $150.

is the best. The stuff is last years model which most stores still sell at full price. You can save an assload there.
I bought a 500.00 amp for 180.00 used it for a few months then sold it for 250.00.
