cant you just order some from an online canadian pharmacy? that stuff isnt scheduled, is it?

can anyone out there write a prescription in the US for amoxycillin? i have no health coverage currently, and i think i have the start of an infection in my right quad, i need some amoxycillin asap to try and catch it soon. please e-mail me at [email protected]

go to a pet store and buy some fish aquarium tablets. If you read the back of the box the ingredients are usually 100% pure antibiotics.

where can I get Cephalexin within the US in a day or 2? its not an aquarium used item also is it?

you should call around and find the cheapest urgency care clinic

maybe cost 60 to 100 bucks but they may have some sample antibiotics around they may give you free since no insurance

it is well worth it

i don't know what is used in the aquariums

check out webmd or one of those sites for dosage/indications

but what is the recomended dosage for humans?

i have a bottle here that says 250 mg, 40 capsules

so i take that to mean: take 4 caps a day (spread out) for 10 days

The adult dosage ranges from 1 to 4 g daily in divided doses. The usual adult dose is 250 mg every 6 hours. For the following infections, a dosage of 500 mg may be administered every 12 hours: streptococcal pharyngitis, skin and skin structure infections, and uncomplicated cystitis in patients over 15 years of age.

Indication & Dosage
Oral
RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS, SINUSTITIS, OTITIS, SKIN AND SOFT TISSUE INFECTIONS, GENITO-URINARY INFECTION INCLUDE ACUTE PROSTATITIS BILIARY TRACT INFECTIONS, UTI: Adults: 1-2g/day in divided doses given 6 or 8 hourly. In severe infection upto 4g/day.

i'm not a doctor but i'd go with Cephalexin since that other guy recommended it and it is indicated for skin infections.

Seeing how its a skin infection, its probably Streptococcal which is gram positive.

I buy them all the time, typically "Thomas Labs" produces them. They also produce the same medicines for the pharmacy. Made here in Az. I usually get "fishflex" to take care of the occasional sinus infection, but they carry most everything. I buy them online, some times through Amazon, some through other stores. You have to realize though, fish grade antibiotics aren't top quality (as some sites say) because they don't care if they accidentally kill a few fish because of un-pure products. Anything Thomas Labs is typically pretty good.
