Ordering Direct from the Factory, how much buying power is necessary?

Theres a guy in little italy in my city, who orders all his supplements directly from the factories, before there shipped to the supplement companies. So its all pure, and hasnt been fucked over yet. Its more expensive buying from that guy though. How much buying power would i need to order directly from the factories myself? If i had 3 buddies together and we ordered enough supps for a year, think we could do it?
anybody know how to go about doing this?

it depends on the company, you would def. have to shell out quite a bit of cash to meet their minimum order. A lot of them may also have some sort of contract that prevents them from selling to private parties. I would talk to a supp company about some sort of volume discount...shop around and you can probably find one that'll hook you up.
