Excerpt: Is maintaining strength gains after a cycle of AAS easier than maintaining muscle mass? I'm guessing it would depend on whether your strength gains are from more raw nervous adaptations or whether the strength gains are being induced from increased muscle size?

    Is maintaining strength gains after a cycle of AAS easier than maintaining muscle mass? I'm guessing it would depend on whether your strength gains are from more raw nervous adaptations or whether the strength gains are being induced from increased muscle size?

    depends on a lot of factors.

    i would say people can def build strength much faster from steroids than actual REAL muscle tissue. guys confuse water retention and bloat with muscle growth

    Yes they are. Muscle is always harder to keep when coming off of superphysiological levels of androgens

    Just do the best you can. I usually switch to higher reps when I'm off cycle. I always loose strength. I just concentrate on doing others things while I'm off like doing more cardio. Change it up and don't let it get you down.
