i was addicted to heroin \ diluidid. same thing. diluidid is hydromorphone, 5 x more potent than morphine mg per mg.

i also LOVED demerol. i prefered mepergan forte, a combo of demerol and phenergan.

barbiturates, alcohol and benzo's are THE toughest drugs to kick.

A. you can die during detox. ( you will not die kicking smack )

B. the psychological aspects of detoxing off downers is much
worse than stimulants and opioids.

if i had my choice between detoxing off benzo's again and death, i would choose death

i'm a tough motherfucker and i've been through a lot of shit but i couldn't go through that again.
