I've done some research about how flexing in the mirror helps out the physique and is considered a form of exercise. I definitely agree and I flex about 10 to 15 min a day to get the blood flowing throughout the body. I wanted to ask my fellow bodybuilders for their expert opinion on this subject and what is there take on this subject.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FLEX AND THE MUSCLES.

Rich,

It's called Isometric training and I do it after my last working set, great way to increase fullness of the muscle belly is muscle against muscle flexing and contraction.

definetly a must if there is a competition coming up close. Posing as a form of isometrics will give you more defintion and help with the very key elements: vacularity and muscle separation.

Plus it's a whole lot of fun. Me and my workout bros usually posedown after a workout for like 5 minutes.

I love how the day after a hard workout you try to flex and it hurts so much that you can't really flex all the way. I feel that alot with biceps and currently feel that in my quads, its the greatest feeling, although painful.

I know what you mean valdez. My calves tend to lock up on me or something. I've been doing a bit more runing and when I do seated calf raises they lock up.

Flex your tricep when you cross a mirror! LOL!! Thank God I'm not the only one!!

Seriously though, I DO like to do some serious flexing on chest day. It feels like a good way to get to the very inner part of the pecs. It also just plain ol' feels good, physically AND mentally!

Isn't great to have mirrors at the gym. C'mon fellas, little posing in front of the mirror after an intense chest or bicep workout doesn't hurt. Just a thought to throw out there on this message board. Hey what the hell the girls love it? Flexing always , FlexRich.
