The day I get done with back, certain parts of my chest are sore. Like they were the ones that got the pounding from the previous day. For example, yesterday I did pull ups, rows, and BTB pulldowns. And today my back is sore, but so is my outer chest, and my upper inner chest. Anyone else have this problem.

FlexRich here so listen up, Scooby you want to know why this problem is happening to you right? Well, next time you do tbar pulldowns, look exactly where you are placing your hands and also when you do the actual movement, my guess is that you are bringing the tbar right in front of your chest, probably near the nipple right? Well if so your outer chest will be somewhat sore as well as a bit of your pecs, Not to the point of agony sore but some discomfort right? This is part of bodybuilding, NO PAIN NO GAIN. FFFLLLLEEEEXXX OOONNNN.

SCOBBY A COUPLE OF THINGS COULD BE HAPPENING.

FIRST OFF YOUR CHEST MAY BE SORE FROM THE PREVIOUS WORKOUT.

SCOBBY TAKE ONE ARM AND DO A DUMBBELL ROW WITH IT.
TAKE THE OTHER HAND AND PLACE IT ON THE UPPER CHEST FRONT DELT REGION.
LOWER YOUR EXTENED ARM UP AND DOWN NOW YOU WILL FEEL SOME MOVEMENT IN THE CHEST DELT AREA. THESE SECONDARY MUSCLES ARE COMING IN TO PLAY AND CAN BECOME SORE IF THE VOLUME IS SUFFICIENT.

OR YOU MAY HAVE A SLIGHT PULL OR STRAIN IN THE CHEST AREA AND IT NEEDS TIME TO FULLY HEAL.

To get greater emphasis on your back, loosen your grip. Your hands should be mearly hooks for the bar so that your back muscles can perform the exercise.

Have u ever used the fly machine (that exercised the pecs)?
When you pull the bar down to your back, you might have done a little "flye" motion with the bar by pulling it toward your head. Pulling it like this is like doing flyes and your working your chest. You should always do it to the front and lean back a little.
