It's been almost 3months since I started down set training.
I want to share with you some of my progress.

1)Incline DB press
85lbsx8>>>>>>>>>120lbsx7
2)DB shoulder press
65lbsx8>>>>>>>>>90lbsx8

And my weight was 190lbs, now it's 210lbs.
PS. I have never been on the juice.(but I will be very soon.)
It is working great so far, except sore joints.

Sorry, I was confused.
It is drop set.
I do triple drop set most of the time.
One set has between 20 to 25 reps and lasts about 50 to 60 sec.
It really hurts, but you know "No pain, No gain."

Asian Muscle whats up FlexRich here, pretty impressive progress. Would like more info on Drop Set routine can you clarify more the 20 to 25 reps for 50sec. routine I am a little confused. Also you mentioned 120lb. on the incline bench(db)x7, how would you incorporate this with the Drop Set. Please specify. Flex on that.

All right, Flex.
Here is what I am doing.

1)Incline DB press
1st set--120x7->100x7->80x8
2nd set--110x8->90x7->70x7
3rd set--110x6->90x6->60x8
2)Shoulder DB press
1st set--90x8->70x6->60x7
2nd set--75x8->65x6->55x8
3rd set--75x6->60x7->50x8

I use drop set method for all muscle group, but I only do it for the first exercise.
For example, after incline DB press I do 3sets of dip(no drop set) and 3sets of DB fly(no drop set),something like that. Of course I do a few warm up sets before I start because I want to use the heaviest weight for the 1st one.
I don't see many people sweating in my gym. But I sweat a lot!! So I guess there are very few people working out hard enough.
Give it a try!!

I think people caliming drop sets lead to overtraining are full of shit. I use them all the time, once in a while on nearly all exercises, and all I get is development. I lift 3 times a week, hitting each muscle once every 7 days, so I better hit it hard. My last triceps workout for example was 3 days ago - all I did was 3 drop sets with 4 different weights and my triceps are still sore as hell, not to mention the pump I got.
Drop sets are the shit.

Asian Muscle thanks for the information, now I completely understand the drop set routine. To be honest with you I did the drop set routine once but did it wrong, I did drop set on my second and third exercise which were the incline dumbell, then to incline dumbell flyes, I noticed that I was overtraining so I never did the drop set routine again. Now that you clarified that it should be the first exercise done then follow up with the regular routine (dips, decline,etc.) I will difinetly give this a try with your method, I will keep you posted on my progress, once again thanks for your expert advice. FLEX ON.
