I could cut and paste pages of information. would take a little long on my part... i've tried 5 times now to grow magic mushrooms... its damn near impossible unless you are devoted to growing the little f'ers. Very man sterilization techniques to undergo, and if you dont do the sterilization pretty much step by step, you are going to get a jar full of infected mushroom mycelium which will die within a week or two. Dont buy from dealers...i bought an 1/8 oz last week and it was bunk, did not a thing, 20bucks down the drain. well you may want to try dealers...but shrooms are pretty costly and rare. so maybe i wasn't all that helpful...to order the spores...you can get several strains...p. cubensis (most common), p azurences (Sp?), sometimes amanitas which are beautiful mushrooms...never heard of anyone locally growing/ingesting them however... so getting on topic... Go to www.shroomery.com once on the page, go to "links" and you should be able to find several companies to order spores from. i ordered mine from P. Fanaticus in Seattle...i'm in TN and i got mine shipped to me in 5 working days. great company, supposedly the spores they ship are good quality...they've always grown well when i've tried, but the contamination was my fault for not being cleaner... also read the chat boards there for more info, that should be the only page you need. Mycologist  oh yaeh, my spores were $10 for a container of 10cc of spores, enough to colonize a hell of a lot of containers. | ||

Well I grew a few pounds (wet) and had no real problems. YOU MUST USE A PRESSURE COOKER to sterilize the media. Check out hightimes, and look for a add from a outfit from Seattle, WA and they have the spores and the book on what I did to get it to work. Boy oh boy, I got fried on these shrooms. | ||
