Here's the deal: My brother-in-law & Sister-in-law tried for 12 yrs. to have a baby. Had a boy 1 yr. ago. We watch the kid on Tues. & Thurs. night from 5-9 while he goes to school and she works. We'll by the time he picks up the baby he has already had 3-4 beers. Last weekend he came over with the baby got out of the truck with a beer in his hand, who knows how many he had a that point. Question: Should I say something like, "you really should not be drinking and driving especially with your pride and joy in the truck with you....blah blah blah...?" Something else? Keep my lips zipped? Have my husband say something, since I am only the "IN-LAW?" What to do, I just worry about something happening to that baby and him growing up thinking that it's ok beacuse nothing has happend "YET". I know that it is his child and his responsibility but I feel compelled to interfere. ------------------     | ||

OK, you're kind of new here and I don't want to sound like a total ass, but... Are you fucking serious?? You're telling me that you watch a 1 year old baby being put into a car with a man that's been drinking WHO KNOWS HOW MANY beers and you can sleep at night?? I'm glad you posted this, and I truly hope that some others will back me up on this!! Seriously, I almost hope your joking...HAVE YOU NO DIGNITY?? Does your husband, the brother of the man (or woman) know?? If not, I do believe it's your duty as a human being to let him know, so that maybe he will have the balls--no, the DECENCY--to say something!! Jesus fucking Christ, if I prayed, I'd be praying for that innocent little baby... And I'd pray for you... On a serious note, please, please...I literally beg you to say something, DO NOT wait until it's too late...I'm almost trying to piss you off because I know that will have more of an effect on you than some "Oh, it's OK, you're timid" BULLSHIT!! Again, please do this now...not next week, not this coming Thursday, but TONIGHT!! Please let me know that you've done this when it happens so that I MAY SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT!! ------------------ | ||

Typicall fucking cocksucker, he hung up on me after calling me a nozey bitch. here's the coversation: me: Hey this is......are you bringing (the kid) over tonight? Asshole: Yeh, I'll be there around 5:30 Me: I just wanted to talk to you about something that has had me in knots. I know that you drink and drive with the kid in the truck and I want you to know how serious this can be, the affects it could have blah, blah, blah I will be glad to take him home the nights that we have him, but what about the other nights...Couldn't finish my sentence because he interupted with..... Look you nozey bitch, I'll do what I want...click. I am so pissed, I am shaking right now. I think when my husband gets home he'll have to leave immediately to go kick his ass. My Mother-In-Law will be watching him tonight instead of me. I am calling her and maybe she can talk some sence into him. Probably not, my Father-In -Law died 4 yrs. ago from the effects of alcoholism and she was the one who bought him a huge bottle of Jim Beam every 3 days. Man this sucks, what am I going to do now? Badkins I do think your advise was the best, it made me take this step. Thank you! Maybe he will come to his senses and call me back, I seriouly doubt it though. BTW he is the one who bought me this shirt, I am going to do a new sig. Fuck him, calling me a bitch...Man I'm pisses. | ||
