I was in the locker room getting ready to head out and I saw some dork throw a towell on the floor when the bin was not more than 5 feet away. I said "hey, why don't you put it in the bin". He said "why do you care, you don't have to pick it up". I said "I pay to go here, I pay to use the towells, and I don't pay for slobs like you to be picked up after". Then this shit threw the towell in my face and said "why don't you throw it in then". I went out and told the manager what happened and the guy was new and was paying by the month so they kicked him out. I've been a member since beginning of last year and they know me. Anyway, I guess it wasn't a fight but holy shit I was so pissed when he threw the towell in my face. I keep wondering if I should have kicked his ass rather than told the manager. I guess I probably did the right thing. I'm still pissed though. ------------------     | ||

You did and didnt do the right thing. Let me explain. Disrespect in any form isnt tolerable or acceptable. Instead of beating the hell out of him which would of been a little extreme I would of grabbed him and put his face to the floor until he understood he made a mistake. I would of caused the necessary pain for him to re-think his actions and admit he was wrong without punches being thrown. Look at this way, You didn't get in trouble with Johnny law or get kicked out for kicking his ass, and You just cost the little shit head money that he paid to workout their...I'd say that wasn't doing to bad...Guys like that always get their ass kicked for having a bad attitude so perhaps you might have taught him a valuable lesson the moral of this story: Don't act like a disrespectfull shithead, and you shall not be treated as one... | ||

Havoc, Thats funny you say that because the first thing I thought of was not kicking his ass but rather picking him up and stuffing him in the bin. I'm sure he would have got up and wanted a fight though and at that point there would have been one. | ||

I have a lady friend who complains that in her gym where she just started working out, that the guys never take the 21 kilo weights of any of the Equipment. She asked one guy to do so when he was finished and explained that she was new and he told her she needed to workout more then he walked away. such incicility had no place in the gym especialy with the (ahem) gentler sex. I'm fairly sure that the initial of the gym she goes to are start with "B" by the Young & Bloor subway stop. I hope there is not more than one there. She signed up for a year at over $600 Canadian, paid in a lump sum, and regrets her choice. Grotto | ||

Fuck it, he threw the towel at you, you should have pounded the shit out of him -- rammed his fucking head into the sink and gouged out his eyeballs. Of course, I'm just a little mad in general, maybe that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Personally, I probably would have punched him right in the nose. Dick, throw a towel at me will you?
