Is it just me or does it seem like these 150lb, Justin Timberlake crowd of guys are all pussies who feel the need to mistreat their girlfriends? What are they scared of- their girl cheating- or them knowing that 85% of the population could beat their ass? Pricks. May they all burn in hell. ------------------     | ||

I think it's that little man syndrome, 85% of the pop. could beat their ass is usually their beef. At the track where I race all the guys in my class "stock lite" are that type and when they get their asses spanked on the track by me they bow up at me until they see my husband. He usually leaves them alone because getting beat on the track by me is much more fun to watch then him squashing them and going to jail. I have a theory. Rap music and being small causes this. They listen to this unrealistic music all day long- yes it's a reality for about 3% of the population. The rest of you who "connect" with the singer can blow me. Then they grow angry with society, even though they're middle class white people, and they take it out on their girlfriends Meanwhile the big guys, who listen to realistic music about people's problems seem to be the softer, gentler type. | ||

Music about making more money than me, fucking more girls than me and drinking Cristal all the time isn't realistic music. A singer telling us everything about themself- all their mistakes in life, all their pains, how they hurt people and how they've been hurt and how none of us are perfect- is realistic. The day we're all multimillionaires, smoking pot all day, killing people and having a house full of whores and cars is the day we can all say we're connecting with 90% of rap music. Yes, they all throw one song on their album that is supposed to be sad. But unlike DMX- I don't know what it's like growing up with no parents, being poor, having to rob and kill to survive, etc. Radiohead, Nirvana and other groups may not sound like they're making much sense. But if you break down the lyrics and understand the metaphors, you'll understand it. I don't listen to Pantera, so I cannot comment. | ||

I think its called Napolean Complex or something like that. Little guys have to act tough in order to make up for their lack of size. In a quick defense of Justin Timberlake look alikes, my best friend is a look alike of him, not by choice mind you. He treats his girl like a princess though. I hate how people like that find it necessary to act hard. None of the kids I know out here, suburbs, can relate to the rappers they listen to. Shit none of the kids I knew in the city can relate to the rappers they listen to. I don't have a problem w/ rap and listen to it, but I don't walk around thinking I'm hot shit cause some guy that doesn't know I'm alive talks shit into a microphone. Mr H: I know what you mean about how guys like that make bad boyfriends. I see that shit all too often out here and the worse part is girls love these guys. I hear "Oh hes so built!" Its responded to with a "Because he can see his abs does't mean hes built. It means hes borderline anorexic." Does the fact that I don't treat girls like shit make me a non compatible boyfriend. Does the fact that I don't walk around grabbing my balls mean I don't have a pair? Does the fact that I don't start fights mean I can't fight at all? I'm waiting for the day some punk hard ass wannabe tries something w/ me. They don't seem to grasp the concept that the quiet guy who doesn't say anything will be the one kicking their ass if they fuck with him. ------------------ | ||

This is a big fucking annoyance of mine. In my 'state' we have the largest cruise strip in the united states. Basically, the whole culture here is drag racing, cruise around in your eclipse, mustang, or some other car that mommy and daddy bought for you, dress like eminem and talk mad shit to everyone. You always see the finest girls with these fucking jackasses with little goatees, white 'muscle' shirts, backwards hats, and a walk like their right knee keeps giving out. Even though I like a few towns over from where this takes place, I've been there and know the culture. I'm sure MP5 can relate to what I'm saying. | ||

The funnier ones are the ones that didn't hit puberty and sport their one chin hair like its a ZZ Top beard. Every time I go to pick up my little step sister from school one "tough guy" has to do something to directly piss me off. I told yous about the one that was smoking but wasn't inhaling. Last time it was some kid getting ready to throw a snow ball at my car. I just stared him down and was ready to get out of my car if he would've thrown it. Tough guy dropped it and went on his way. Studcj: I just keep telling my self one day they'll snap out of it. I'm in denial from what I'm told though. Heres some shit people that live(d) in the ciy and have been in the suburbs will realte to. All the punks claim Philadelphia, but they live 20 miles away. I would love to see them spend a day in the city. They'll either be mugged or dead if they acted the way they do to some drug dealer who doesn't give a shit. ------------------ | ||

Rex, funny you talk about Philly because I was drunk and lost and wandered around Philly walking from midnight to 7AM. But, it was during the Republican National Convention so it was safe. And I was downtown-by the water so that is a safer area. The worst part of town I was in was the area by some steak sandwich place that was in the video for the Boys II Men song "Motownphilly". Also, one of my best friends is from Media, PA and she says she's from Philly just because nobody would know WTF she was talking about if she said Media. It is not because she thinks she's thugged out or anything. Rap is definitely a problem for rich white kids. They listen to DMX for an hour before they go out and they think that makes them tough. | ||

I mostly grew up in a upper middle class suburb north of Houston, The funniest thing to see would be some little 16 scrawny kid driving mommy or dadies benz or jag with the window down blasting rap music while his gf would be looking away with shame since her bf had to wear some thugged out ghetto wear talking shit to everyone driving by... oh the memories of meeting my next gf as she was embarressed by the poser she was with...Oh well bad for them good for me. | ||

I date a skinny guy...in fact, the one huge guy I dated treated me like shit 24/7 and used his size to get his way with me...thats why I date little guys now...they're less likely to screw with someone who can beat the crap outta them. Two out of the three skinny guys I've been with have been complete pacifists..the other was a spoiled rich kid. Gimme a skinny pacifist anyday over some behemouth who uses their size to intimidate people. I do enough indimidating...I dont need someone to do it for me. | ||

Kat that is horrible to hear...I dislike anyone who uses their size to make others fear them without a good reason. I am really laid back person now but at one time I had a temper that would have scared satan straight mainly when I was somewhat skinny. I can relate to those that have anger problems but I never could understand why people would use their size instead of their brain to intimidate someone. Whenever I deal with people with those kind of problems I just try and get them to try and use their heads a little bit to show them that just because they have size doesn't mean their mind can put it to proper use. As for you choosing skinny guys thats A-ok too, different strokes for different folks |
