I got my nose broke really fucking bad by some jeakoff with a beer bottle a few months ago. Figured I would wait to see how it looked but it still looks like shit. Thinking about having it corrected. anybody had any? and is there anyway I can get insurance to pay for it?

If you're a fan of my posts, you might remember that my ex-bf busted my nose when we broke up. I've also had my jaw busted (but that was several years ago).

Anyway, inasmuch as the bf was a pediatrician at my HMO, he took me to the emergency room. He thought if he was there, I wouldn't tell how it really happened. But he also showed me what a crappy doctor he was. There was nothing they could do for me.

A plastic surgeon came and saw me but said that they'd have to wait a few weeks so that the swelling could go down. The swelling/bruising went away after a couple of weeks and I went back to the plastic surgeon.

He gave me 10 mg of Valium in his office and then put something like a chrome letter opening up my nostril and re-broke my nose. That really hurt ... then he put a splint on my nose and sent me home.

My nose is now as straight as it was before.

Good luck!

Hey May, any Dr. who would try to fix your nose this way ought to have HIS nose broken.

Fucking Dr's they don't know of what they speak when it comes to pain, a lot of what they inflict without a adequate analgesic is
B.S. Next time a Dr. tries this shit on me is going to be hurt very badly.

Any Dr.'s out there who would care to counter this point is fine with me. I know your gonna loose this arguement on this board with me and a lot of the other members just might agree with me on this one.

Any takers?
