I understand that everyone has a past, but I would like to marry a girl who has'nt slept around. It kind of makes you feel more special. My current girlfriend won't tell me her exact number, she just says it's under 5. Of course, I would'nt even think of telling her mine, although I'm sure she ahs some sort of idea... | ||

Madbomber you bastard. LET IT DIE!!! J/K bro. Its just that every time I read one of your posts I get all worked up about my current situation. I can see myself marrying my girlfriend way down the road, but I still have a lot to deal with before it would come anywhere close to that. She was with 7 guys before being with me. I had been with 1 girl. She was with those 7 guys over a period of seven years, from her sophomore year in high school through college. One of those guys, during her junior year in high school, was a one night stand with a guy she was friends with at school. That really makes me sick to my stomach. The rest were all serious boyfriends. Despite having been with a lot of guys, I don't think of my girlfriend as having been a slut. Outside of those seven guys, she has done NOTHING with ANYONE. I try to focus on that and compare it with the fact that I've gotten naked with a lot of relatively random girls, its just the we didn't have sex. Talk to me Madbomber. You have to look at it this way: Everything she has ever done in her life has contributed to her being the person she is today. She shouldn't feel bad about it and you shouldn't make her question the decisions she made in the past. It doesn't do any good. I think for her to have been honest with you on such a sensitive topic speaks more about the type of person she is rather than the type of person she was. One thing I have noticed with most girls that have sleeped with this many guys is that they have some major personal problems that they need to deal with (not all but most). wow, i would not want to be someones 30th!!! stone cold, i am fascinated by this topic.. by no means is my girl a slut... she has done things that bug me, but she only slept with ONE guy... so i am lucky in that sense. 7 guys isnt really that much either considering it was when your girl was young and over a 7 year period.. sometimes i think the reason for girls sleeping with/messing with guys is the way they were raised.. maybe they were taught daddy was always right, or what the man says goes.. so in fact they were taken advantage of. i've gotten over the ONE guys my girl has slept with, but the few others she did things with bug the shit out of me. i honestly feel they took advantage of someone, at least most of them did. (that number is also pretty low). hmmm, she may get mad but i doubt it.... a 23 or 24 year old MAN talked her into doing stuff when she was 15... that is an obvious case of taking advantage of a situation and seeing how he was the first one to do it, it just went on from there. it drives me crazy to think of them, and i cant control my thoughts... but i take comfort in the fact that if we ever break up for good, i know she respects herself far more now then ever before and i dont think she would let another guy take advantage of her in ANY way. i think girls feel pressure to satisfy men, some stop just before sex (that reads they do oral) some dont draw the line there.... it confuses me and obviously bugs me... i cant imagine what happens if djane and i break up for good one day... geez, i will have to patrol the school bus to find a girl with no history! probably middle school too... i think somehow i got oldschool values despite NEVER going to church. i always felt my time was long ago, now i believe it even more. babble babble | ||

Madbomber, that reminds me of something that I heard the other day. I have a little sister who is in the sixth grade. Well, she came to me the other day because she was all upset about this boy she likes. It seems that he wants to fuck her (already!), and she doesn't want to do that. But the kicker is this: she told me that all her friends are doing it. Uh...I was floored! Kids are fucking in the sixth grade nowadays? That's news to me. Not only that, she said that most of her friends had done things like threesomes, switching boyfriends, doing guys twice their ages, etc. I could not belive this. I think it might be a pressure issue. My sis felt like she needed to do all of this stuff in order to be popular and for people to like her. It is truly sickening. I've been with over 75 women in my short, but xtremely fun life When I met my wife, that number bothered her, but she got over it and she loves me. If it was my wife who had been with 75 men, I would be a little wary of getting involved with a girl like that as more than just fuck buddies. Guys. Let me give you some input. I know that my GF has had more partners than I have. We've talked about it before. YOu have to look at WHY they were with the people that they were. Both of us were almost completely incompatible with others and we both needed to feel attention and affection. We're both cut from the same stone-which is miracle that two people like us ever met. Everyone has a past. As long as she didnt have sex for money or screw people (more than a few) that I know or are friends with just think of what is in the here and now. ------------------ | ||

Madbomber, I think we went to the same school. StoneCold, you have a tough situation bro. 7 isn't that high by today's standards and at least she wasn't promiscuous. It is a hard thing to deal with and I feel your pain. I don't buy the "what she has done in her past makes her what she is today" shit. That is just an excuse that people use to make themselves feel better about things they aren't proud of. I can't judge your girl because I don't know her. Does she honestly feel that she has made 7 mistakes or is she proud of it? How does she feel that her past bothers you? Would she change it if she could? Then ask the same questions of yourself. What it comes down to is that as a couple your values have to be in line in order for you to move forward in the relationship. | ||

MB gave the introduction so here it goes..yes, it started when i was 15, and this guy was interested in me. whether it matters or not, i was abused by my father, and therefore had both a fear and hatred of men, but also the need to be accepted and liked. anyway, what happened happened, and i know i wasn't the only young girl he messed with. after that, when i wold date a guy and he would say "do this" i would do that b/c that's what had always done. don't get me wrong, i knew it was bad and wrong, but they would be happy if i did whatever. that's how many of these "whores" start out, i believe. some were conditioned at a young age to do whatever the guy wants, no matter who it is. some girls think that is the only way they can get affection. some realise this is not true and stop. i am NOT proud of what i did, but at least i learned more about myself each time i did something stupid. i know i'm worth more than that and i shoud never lower my standards for another man's happiness. i do however agree partially with May's thought. your past shapes your future dircetly. you make decisions and based on the outcome you change your ideas and actions. who knows how i would have turned out had i not met that pervert. no way to tell for sure. i know it bugs MB, and frankly, it bothers me that it bugs him so much, but i know he loves me, and i hope eventually it won't bother him as much. afterall, I'M the one who has to deal with it emotionally, and mentally..not that he doesn't, but you know..it happened to me, not him. that's all for now. |
