Be it a good relationship gone bad or someone who dicked you over - what's the harshest thing you've ever done in regards to getting revenge on someone?

My personal best was on a former co-worker who spread a rumor that I was a whore, would suck for free and passed out my phone number to people she would meet at bars. I printed up flyers with her picture and phone number on it - and a statement that she was a dangerous dildo toting whore with herpes and should be avoided at all cost. I paid a homeless guy to put them on the windshields of cars parked at a bar she frequented. Amazingly, my 2 a.m. phone calls stopped and she didn't have a date for months.

There are no good forms of revenge, if you plan on acting out a revenge plot then dig two graves.

Havoc,

Did you "wake and bake" this morning?

SD - The best form of revenge is to succeed tremendously and stay friends. The 2 serious ex's I have are still my friends, and as they date loser after loser I send them postcard after postcard from each trip, cruise or whatever. Believe me it hurts them deeper than any plot you may concoct. (But I like your technique)

Friends close, enemies closer, ex-girlfriend's closest.

No just more philosophical. By the way - great story on the trash can lighting. Your coach couldn't keep you in school...or was it too much pressure to punish you guys?

Find out what bugs the shit out of them/sore spots, and every time you see 'em ask about it. It'll have them in complete angst!

That's bullshit - but based on what I know about college newspapers and the admiration/resentment duality of athletes, I see where you're coming from.

Matt,

Is that the only reason you are still friends? Not judging you bro, but I'm curious.

Good point, Skywalker.
You remind them.
It kind of relates to what works for me.

If someone is totally pissing me off, they always seem to be doing real well in life.
But when I finally slough off the resentment
and forget about them, a world of shit falls on them-every time.

Stan,

In one case, yes, in the other, no. But I'm growing out of it.

But if you're doing well and they aren't, do you feel guilty at all?

Revenge is one of the most rewarding pursuits in life. It really depends on the offense.

Nobody is above an ass-whooping. No one, be it male or female. If everytime somebody stepped way out-of-line they got their ass kicked, it would make the world a better place.

Put it this way, a few years ago somebody tried to seriously damage my reputation, I simply ran into that person in a parking lot and proceeded to beat his ass until he started to cry like a baby. I then helped him up and explained the situation. To this day we are still friendly with each other. The problem these days is that everyone hides behind lawyers and considers themselves not responsible for their actions.

I've stepped out of line before and gotten my ass kicked too, and I deserved it when it happened.

Stan,

I don't feel guilty. All the things I have achieved I did on my own with the support of caring family.

I remember the way people treated me when I had fuckin nothing. Those who were good to me then will be remembered and taken care of. People who turned their backs on me, in my times of need, will never be shown my face again.

For an ex-fatty like myself, vengance to all of those who stepped on me in the past is a motivator. It is one (of several) reasons I lift. There is nothing better then running into one of my ex-stud-now-fatty old classmates.

Matt,

My phrasing wasn't the best. I didn't mean to imply that one may feel guilty for doing well when there ex isn't. What I meant to say is that if I were doing well, and my ex-wasn't, and I kept in close contact with her just to flaunt it in her face, then I would feel bad about doing that. If I was doing well and she was not, I would probably prefer to have no contact with her. Even if she is a sinister bitch from hell...lol.
