I've rented 'Lock, Stock' and really liked it. I'll get around to Snatch soon(in more ways than one).

Yea, it has that United Kingdom feel about it,
with the flashy graphic breaks.

Trainspotting is similar.

PerfectRep - you are friends with Dennis Farina? that is cool.
he is somewhat typecast in that he always (in all of his 40+ movies) plays either gangsters or policemen (or fbi/detectives).

I think I'm gonna go tomorrow and rent Lock Stock... again.

Awesome flick, I loved it!

One observation though. I've noticed it for years and this film just brought it back to me. Why is it black Europeans can speak their native tongue perfectly while so many black Americans couldn't speak the English language correctly to save their own life?

The difference between involved and committed can best be explained using a bacon and egg breakfast as an example: The chicken is involved but the pig is committed.

Saw Snatch Saturday, it was great! MUCH better than lock, stock and barrel (which was just good in my opinion).

Definitely worth the price of admission.

Farina is the man. He has a house about 2 miles from me just across the state line in Michigan. I see him once in awhile in the winter and play golf with him in the summers. He good friends with my Dad. We get Christmas cards from him, too. He's been training pretty hard lately at Golds in New Buffalo, Mich. Great guy and always has a story about either some celebrity or from when he was a Chicago cop (quit police force around 1985 I think.)
