Over time the Cholesterol builds up in the blood stream and starts clogging up things. Not all the fat in eggs is good fat. Each egg had 1.5 grams of saturated fat. Some yolks in the meal are not bad for you but everything in moderation

There should be no problem with eating eggs, unless you are one who is genetically prone to high cholesterol. The dietary cholesterol scare has been disregarded nowadays, since we now realize that the liver is the major manufacturer of cholesterol in the body (2/3 made by liver, 1/3 from diet). Problems with cholesterol come from it's oxidation, which is a reason for antioxidant use.

If I remember correctly, the major fatty acid in eggs tends to be oleic acid, which is a neutral monounsaturate. Eggs are only around 20-30% saturated fat.

Hey I've been eating 24 whole eggs a day and I put mayo on them I also eat 1lb of read meat and a whole chicken and sometimes I'll throw in a few cans of tuna. Oh yes I have 4 protein shakes and 1 16oz jar of peanut butter I split it up in the shakes. I've been doing this for 3+yrs now and I carb up on the weekends My cholesterol is fine and my doctors said go for it if it works don't try to fix it.

Just because you eat something doesnt mean it ends up in your arteries. Thats like eating fried chicken and finding crisco in your arteries. If your weight is fine, your chol. is in check dont sweat it, its one of the best anabolic foods.

Dude, I'm in week 10 of AD. How does your workout look during the week? Do you take in pre or post-workout carbs besides the weekend carb load? How do you center your workouts around the carb load? Do you have a favorite split that works well with the diet? Do you ever do cardio? What supp.'s do you use?
Sorry about this barrage of questions, but I've never seen anyone on this board that's done AD for nearly as long as you, and I know Dr.DiPasquale is not very specific when it comes to the workout side of the equation. PLease, give me some info! If you have time (if not don't worry about it!), I'd love to hear from you via e-mail for some details of long term AD; [email protected]
