I am trying to thin my skin out to show my abs more. How do I achieve this? I am by no means fat, maybe 8-9% bf, but I want to get my skin on my stomach thinner. Any suggestions???

Get to 5% BF, or get a sharp knife.

Dairy products will make your skin appear thick. The sugar lactose will smooth you out. So my point is...NNNNNOOOOOO DDDDAAAIIIRRRRRYYYY!!

A combo of what dread and risky said is what you need. Mostly you need to lose some more fat, then flush all the subQ water out with a low sodium/high water diet. BTW, most dairy is relatively high in sodium which is the reason to avoid it. And since you should be cutting back on sugars, dairy products that are high in carbs should be avoided, just like any other sugars. But there's nothing wrong with a slug of whey protein or cottage cheese as long as they're not packed full of sodium.

Lower bodyfat, lots of water, and no sugars. That includes milk, fruit, and juices.

I agree with the others. You are still carrying too much bodyfat for the look you desire. I achieved it once in my whole life, of course, I was only about 145 then. If you really must drop that low, your diet coupled with some water manipulation should do it. Also invest in some kind of herbal diuretic when you get there, such as dandelion.
