FUCK NO!!!! Keto will get you nowhere for bulking! still get in high protein, but you should be eating at least 400-600 grams of carbs a day for a good bulking diet.

I would like to discuss the use of ketogenic diets while bulking.

There's really a couple ways of going about this. 1st of all, YES, it is possible to bulk on a Keto Diet. Check out Dr. DiPasquale's Anabolic Diet, it's designed to put on size with little fat. It's a CKD like you've prob been doing. It works well for some but many have trouble eating enough calories from Beef and other Keto foods. Another way of doing it is doing a Zone-type diet. Dr. Eric Serrano, an DR. and expert on nutrition who talks at seminars with Charles Poliquin puts many bodybuilders on a 40%prot, 30%fat and 30% carbs when bulking, I'd set protein to at least 1.5g per lb body-weight and more towards 2g. Poliquin recommends a bulking diet for the carb-intolerant 50g carbs from greens a day, Post-workout .5-2g per lb. LBM. And this is a 4 day low carb, 1 day high carb plan. Every 5th day eat a big carb meal or a whole day of carbs. I'd stick with the Zone-type approach. In terms of High-Carb low fat, unless u just wanna get fat I wouldnt do it. Unless you're one of the few who tolerates carbs really well (which is doubtful, since you've been on a keto diet to lose fat, dont worry, must of us dont, myself included) Then you'd be shooting yourself in the food overdoing the carbs. A low fat diet is also proven to lower testosterone levels (especially below 20%fat) and higher levels show higher T-levels. Choice is yours, if u want to go the Keto way, check out Testosterone's website. Search "Eat Like A Man", a 2 part article on the Anabolic Diet.

...
thx for the info
if read the article on testosterone.net
nevertheless i've got some questions

the calorine intake during cutting phase is mentioned, but what about the intake during bulking then?
should it be as high as with a high carb diet?
and to make one thing completely clear: it is possible to gain muscles with a <5g carb intake /day
and i'm less likely to gain fat than with a high carbs diet? sounds wonderful

I've read the article in t-mag, and have tried bulking on a CKD. I agree with the author, it's very difficult to pull that off. I don't feel it's impossible, just a major PITA. Let's face it, how much meat and eggs can you possibly eat without some carbs? You'll want to vomit if your trying to force down those extra calories from fat and protein only.

i don't worry about the extra calorine intake
just eat a little bit more cheese or add a spoon of oil...
can i take a protein drink or should i get all the protein i need out of meat & eggs & stuff?
my current drink got 3g of carbs/100g, is that a problem?
