Do you all find that consuming dairy products, mainly milk, will impede your progress while attempting to lower body fat? I have found this to be true even if it is fat free milk and milk products. Just curious as to everyone else's experience with this.

I have noticed that yes. I think it's because lactose isn't digested as efficiently in some persons (they lack sufficien amounts of the enzyme lactase).

Yeah, I've noticed it as well. Most dairy products (even during a cutting phase) add to subcutaneous fat which "thickens the skin." The only exception I've ever read about was no-fat cottage cheese which is extemely high in quality protein. Dr. Connelly, the devloper of the Met-Rx products, listed cottage cheese protein as one of the highest quality proteins on earth for building/maintaining lean muscle tissue. However, I've never heard anybody vouch for that since most bodybuilders avoid all dairy products like the plague while cutting.

dairy=saturated fat=NO cuts

Dairy is definitely not something to use when you are dieting for cuts - if you absolutely have to, use it to extreme moderation - it is all saturated fat and also, look at all the crap that is used in cows to get them to produce such unnaturally large quantities of milk.

Think about what you are putting in your body-you are what you eat!

Dairy is just a food. Unless it's lowfat cottage cheese or whey/casein isolate then it will likely have a lot of carbs, some sat fat, and certainly plenty of sodium. If you're dieting and trying to avoid any of the above then don't eat dairy. The fats in dairy are no more likely to get stored subcutaneously than any other saturated fat. If you're on a keto diet then many low carb cheeses are a good choice.

Dairy got a bad rep in the 'old days' of bodybuilding because there was no such thing as fat-reduced dairy products. This made dairy ideal for bulking, but bad for cutting. These days, unless your allergic or intolerant to dairy, there's no harm in eating wisely chosen dairy products. I would certainly cut them out the last week or two before a show though mainly because of the sodium/carbs.

BTW the stuff they give to cattle, chickens, pigs etc... is no better than what they give to dairy cows. If that's a concern for you then you should eat nothing but Biogro certified organic meat, dairy, fruit, grains and veggies.
