It would save a lot of calories for cutting up. Who uses water with a protein powder? Also is it necesary to use water with protein powder in order to cut up.

I always use water because all that extra milk could add up to a lot of calories. But I think the milk also makes it digest slower. It also adds extra protein. So milk would make more sense for when bulking.

I've never used anything but water for MRP's. It seems water makes them just way too filling, in other words also calorie dense. I usually try to get my extra calories from flaxseed oil with my MRP's. As far as it goes for cutting, it's a no brainer, use water only.

depends on the individual. with milk is better for bulking. with water could possibly be better for cutting (some persons tend to retain a little water with dairy products, some don't) as far as having too many calories for cutting? that's almost rediculous, milk has roughly 110kcal per 8oz and an Mrp is calorie rich (generally) adding 100 cal isn't going to make it or break it.

I prefer non-fat milk in my Met-rx MRP, it tastes good and adds some extra protein and real food stuff not found in a powder.

I am a big fan of milk and egg protein. Come to think of it I also love beef, pork, chicken, heck protein rules!
