Wondering why 1 litre of water before cardio? I do the morning cardio on an empty stomach. I usually drink nearly 2-3 litres of water during a 1 hour cardio session. Wondering why so much water before cardio also. I saw this at the "fat burning tips" thread, and am curious as to why? Thanks in advance

gets the body going in the morning, water is needed after 7+ hours of sleep to flush the body. Cold water also burns calories (your body has to heat it to 98.6f) it increases metabolism in and of itself, combine it with cardio and you have success.

Hey if cold water increases metabolism what about just being in the cold? My work has no heat so I basically freeze my ass off for about 30 hours a week. Do you think this slows or speeds my metabolism?

Being in the cold definalty burns calories....everything your body does burns calories...but if you are thinking about laying in the snow in lieu of hitting the bike for 20 minutes...I think you need to reconsider...the amount of calories burned in minimal...

No what I was saying is that my work has no heat. Whatever temperature it is outside, it is at my work. I really think it has helped me get leaner.
