I seem to always be constantly constipated and I've about tried everything to get my pipes back on track like fiber supplements, laxatives, cleansing pills etc., but nothing has worked to where I could function normally. So I've finally concluded to get my diet on the right track to help get my colon clean.I'm going to cut out sodas, high saturated fat foods, sugar, or basically just junk foods.I'm going to start eating a high fiber, low fat/high essential fat, moderate carbs, above moderate protein diet, with plenty of water.I'm going to try to incorperate this with a workout regiman so that I can clean out my pipes but as well as lose some fat and get healthier. Can anyone suggest a good diet plan and foods that can help me get started.Thanks.

Prunes first thing in the morning, when you're still on an empty stomach. You could put prunes on some bran cereal to make things more interesting.

As well as fibre, you also need roughage so eat apples and celery.

A vitamin C supplement (or a lot of oranges), lots of carbs from grains, and hold back on things like cheese and the pipes should clear up after a while. But if you've been already trying that and it's still not working, maybe it's worse than it should be. You could also try raw Psyillium Husks, which you should be able to find in a health food store. Two tablespoons, first thing in the morning.

Give it time. I'd be surprised if everything wasn't back to normal after a week of following what I just suggested.
