Is honey a bad thing to take when trying to burn fat ?

i.e. Does it raise insulin levels that would prevent fat burning ?

I take 2 tablespoons per day with tea.

Honey is made up mostly fructose and glucose. There are about 16grams of sugar in one tablespoon. It doesn't help when cutting and will definitely affect insulin levels but if you think you can afford those 32 grams of sugar a day then go for it.

Well bro it depends how you cut. I allways use simple sugars in my pre and post workout meal nomatter cutting or bulking.
Especially after(post) workout you should consume simple carbs such as honny, see post about simple sugars.
