Alright I'm sure there are plenty of related posts on this, but theres nothing like personal advice.
I am getting ready for my first cycle, of course bulking. Then I was planning on going on a low cal keto diet for three weeks while hitting the gear to keep muscle, about 4 weeks after it.
Today, a friend who knew my plans said this "my get cut, no one will see you in the winter. wait until summer and cut down; try to bulk as much as possible in the mean time".
Alright, that sounds like a good idea, however, I'm afraid my BF will get too high, I last dieted down to 8% right before college started back, now I'm up to around 15%, but have gained about 10lbs of muscle (about 3-4 pounds from mucle I lost on my diet). What body fat is too high to hope to be able to diet it off easily? I can diet easily, I wrestled back in high school and was on diets year round so a month of keto is no prob. I was thinking, not to let myself get over 20%, sound good? Or should I just bulk, cut, bulk, cut like I was originally planning. My stats are, I am 5'5", 170, ~15%: but the wierd thing is, I can still make out my six pack at this BF, so maybe I'm a bit lower.
Any advice whatsoever would be awesome.

don't waste your gear on a diet. gain as much mass as possible. lose the fat later. it would be a complete waste to try and fullfill to completely different goals at the same time.

nah dude, the idea was retaining muscle while on a really severe diet. like around 1000 cals a day. i have a ton of winstrol powder. was going to use 25-50mg a day while dieting to try to keep more muscle, i usually lose quite a bit like most.

it's your first cycle. I'm really damn confused.

write your cycle out. how many weeks after the cycle are you gonna start to cut up? should be at least 4!

one of the biggest mistakes people make is hitting a cycle and then immediatley trying to cut up after. STUPID IDEA!!

you need to regain your hormonal balance, then hit the gym hard naturally so you don't lose gains, and STILL eat like a horse for another 4 weeks at least.

Yeah, I'm confused too. Even the pros take a more sensible approach to cutting and they're on A LOT MORE gear than you're planning. And you should keep in mind that even on the best gear and diet you will lose a minimum of 1 pound of muscle for very 7 pounds of fat. The winny will not protect your muscle from a stupid cutting diet (i.e. 1000 cals/day). On such a severe calorie restriction you can expect to lose 25-50% of your weight in muscle. If you want to add muscle mass, then bulk (sensibly). If you want to cut then diet and cardio sensibly. If you don't yet know what we mean by 'sensibly' then just ask.

P.S. With decent doses of AAS (and good diet and training) you can aim to lose 2 lbs of fat per week. This is equilvalent to 1000 calories per day deficit. Going any lower than this will only shut down your metabolism and eat into your muscle tissue. Good luck.
