Hay guys, this is my first time on here. I have just been given a bulking diet which is around 5000cal. I'm entering a natural comp in 5 weeks. I am 19 years old 132 pounds 5'8 and am around 3-5% body fat. My metabolism is very high. The guys who gave me my training and diet is well respected in the bodybuilding scene. He says it will only take me a few weeks to cut up. In the last week I have put on 2kg (4.4pounds some being fat) when I started the diet i was around 3% bodyfat. I am eating 6 times a day.

Breakfast - 40g Protein from Protein Powder, 0.5 litre of 4% milk, 7 vita-brits (like weet-bix)

Meals 2,3,4,5 and 6 contain 120g Lean Meat/Fish, 200g rice/pasta, 40g nuts. (or protein shake with peanut butter and banana)

also 6 slices of bread with 3 tbsp peanut butter.

I'm also supplementing creatine with dextrose before and after training. He also wanted me to eat 5 pieces of fruit but I can't fit it in....

What do you guys think of this....

p.s. to cut up he was thinking of keeping diet the same but giving me cardio 5 mornings a week.

I'm training 5 days a week, 1 body part a day except for arms.

I really think you should bulk up well before your first comp. Maybe even leave the competition for another year. I can confidently say that at your current height and weight there is no way you can look good on stage if you try to bulk while preparing for your show. Unless you're competing against Ethiopian refugees that is.

I weigh 13 pounds more than you, I'm 4 inches shorter than you, and I am still not thick enough to compete, bro.

You weigh 130 pounds and you're taking in 5000 calories? I can assure you that you won't gain much for the competition. It takes time and patience in order to build muscle. Muscle doesn't build that fast. If you do gain any weight, it will probably be more fat than muscle. Wait a year before competing. You will look better. I recommend that you work on finding a better diet and training routine. Good luck bro, I wish you all the best.
