How much $$ is alloted per week/month. Give a specific number, as the most you can spend.

300-400 is plenty of cash.

here is a small grocery list for bulking. not all foods obviously but good ones to add.
eggs
beans and brown rice (cheap! .35c worth has as much protein as a decently sized steak!!)
flax seed oil
whole wheat bread, legumes
pasta
tuna
corn tortillas!!
cheaper beef and steak
chicken (UGH!!) I hate chicken
Peanut Butter!!!
etc.
etc.

Beans and rice are an UN-tapped bodybuilding resource, add some spices and it tastes real good too!!

Try cheese tortellini.A serving of it(26 tortellini) has 278 calories.12g of protein,5.8g of fat and 44g of carbs. If you want pasta it's the way to go.Plus it's cheap.About $4(Canadian funds) for a bag with 10 servings.

eggs are cheap, whole wheat bread is cheap, tuna if you buy a big package is cheap, what's expensive is the good stuff. THe red meat and chicken.

If you want good cheap supplements, I recommend going to www.prosourceonline.com Get Prosource supplements. They sell their whey isolate in a 4 pack for like 80 bucks. So you're basically paying 20 dollars for a 2 pound tub (40 servings). Not bad. They sell german creatine 1000 grams for 33 bucks. The have 600 grams of glutamine for 33 bucks. I recommend getting an MRP like Growth Factor X. It's pretty expensive, so if you're not willing to pay that much, stick with Prosource supplements. And if you do get the whey protein, stick with the chocolate. A few people say that Prosource is very unreliable in shipping their products on time, but I have never had a problem with them. I recommend giving them a try. Another good supplement site is www.netrition.com Good luck.

Hey fellow college student! I'm in the same situation right now regarding supplements. Only thing is that the school is paying me $50 a week because they put me in temporary shitty housing. As long as I deal with 3 people in a 2-person room, I have money for supp's.

Well, sorry HIT Bodybuilder, but i think those prices are high. For creatine, you can get a kilo for $19.99 at www.kilosports.com and a kilo of glutamine for $39.99. As far as meal replacement, I use Grow! by Biotest because I love the taste and i think it's a quality product. However, if I wasn't getting that $50 a week, I wouldn't buy the stuff. It costs about $90 for 3 tubs, about 3.1 pounds each. Protein factory has protein for under $5 a pound and they can customize your mixes. It's a steal. www.bodybuilding.com also has cheap prices for a shitload of products.

No need to apologize Genetic. I actually believe that those prices are very good prices for German Grade Creatine. I have never used Kilosport supplements before, so I don't know how good they are. Biotest's Grow does taste pretty good, but too much sugar in it for me. I try to avoid excess sugar. 16 grams of the carbs from Grow are simple carbs. I try to avoid simple carbs. Keep up the good advice.

hey bro here are some new ways to eat all that nasty ass tuna.
1. mix in some onion soup mix, some ff mayo, and dip crackers in it.
2. mix in some bbq sauce, my friend loves it.
3. add some breadcrumbs and make tuna patties that you can fry on the grill. later
