Two days a week I have to do my weight training in the morning b/c of my work schd.
Is the benifit of fat burning the same as if I did Cardio in the morning? I can't do cardio b/c I don't have time to get ready for work after I finish training.

I do all my workouts at 5am...its been highly beneficial for me to eat pre/post training...I never used to. Here is what I do...protein shake with water and flax as I'm running out the door to the gym. Immediately after the session I eat a bit of high fiber cereal with skim milk and a dash of pro pwdr. It works well for me, recovery time has improved, stiffness has improved.

Early am workout is benificial wether its aerobic or anaerobic. If your doing high rep ciruits, then you might maitian an aerobic training sessionwhich would be most benificial for burning fat. However, if its all anaerobic you be burning off you glucose storaget in you muscles and will use the carbs post workout ot refuel. ALso starts you metabolism going in the am to starte that caloric burning AMs are the best...although they suck!!
