These are my pick of the best physiques
from British Columbia and other parts of Western Canada. Most were photographed
at competitions but there is some outdoor material as well as some taken
during workouts. Other pictures of some of the same athletes are in the
Physique Art & Muscle Portraits section.
Most faces here are fairly well-known in Canadian and Western Canadian
bodybuilding, and although they are unknown in US bodybuilding circles
many are internationally-ranked amateurs and potential pros. I should emphasize
that the people here, as in the Pacific Northwest
section, are my selections of the best bodies, posers, and favourite photos
in my collection, so personal favouritism has definitely played a part
in determining who is depicted here. Bodybuilding fans from outside this
region should understand that this collection does not presume to be comprehensive,
and that there are other excellent bodybuilding competitors throughout
Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest - although from what I've seen
those here are among the very best and most prominent in the region.
