What do YOU do for your neck?

My one bro plays D1 college football. And they do neck work like crazy.

One thing they do is lay on a flat bench. You need two people for this. Have your neck over the edge of it so it can move freely up and down. The start position is having your neck all the way back towards the ground. Then your partner puts his hand on your forehead and applies pressure while you push up. Then you apply pressure to his hand as he pushes your head back down. Then you pause and start over. That is one full rep. Your neck will grow like a weed.

You dont want to start off with too much pressure though, just need start off slowly then add more pressure to it as your neck progresses.
 
Unless you have access to a neck machine at your gym, bridges might be your only option. They work really well btw, and you don't need any special equipment or spotters.
 
you can get a neck strap to work neck extension, lay on a stability ball or off a bench with a light weight on your forehead to do neck flexion, lay on your side and flex with a light weight on the side of your head for side flexion.
 
I never tried to make my neck grow, but doing shrugs got it up to 17" pretty quick, and its stayed there even though i havent lifted for 2 years.
 
5 way neck machine twice a week here. Just like any other body part to me. 3 x 15 90lb+

No machine use cable pully and neck harness.

No harness? Try the bench w/towel and some plates. set them on your head lye on the back try turning over on the stomach even crouched on the floor to hit it sidways you get used to it. adapt and over come!!

the neck harness is fun! I have one. its pretty cool. just don't let the straps rub your ears...you have funny marks on them afterwards...LOL
 
How many sets do you guys suggest Im gonna work it out 3 times a week. Should I just use that harness and go every direction, or does someone have a good link tha can help me out?
